Pepper Steak

Whipping up a stir fry!

Ingredients:

1 lbs beef top round steak

2 tbs olive oil

1 medium onion (sliced)

2 clove garlic (minced)

1 tsp ginger

1 cup beef broth

1/4 cup soy sauce

1/4 cup sugar

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp hot pepper sauce

1 green bell pepper (sliced)

1 yellow bell pepper (sliced)

2 tsp cornstarch

1/4 cup cold water

Directions:

  1. Cut up steak and vegetables into 3 inch long and 1/4 inches wide strips.

  2. Heat olive oil in a wok, once hot stir fry garlic, onion and ginger to the pan

  3. Stir fry beef top round steak until browned.

  4. Add beef broth, soy sauce, sugar, black pepper, hot pepper sauce and cook for 15 minutes.

  5. Add bell peppers and cook for 5 minutes.

  6. Add cornstarch and 1/4 cold water, stir and cook until slightly thickened.

  7. Serve with white rice.
