30 Minutes Meal: American Tacos

Fast and delicious!

Ingredients:

1 lbs of ground beef

1 package of taco shells (hard or soft)

1 package of taco seasoning

2/3 cup of water

Lettuce (shredded)

Tomato (diced)

Onion (diced)

Cheese (shredded)

Optional:

Sour Cream

Guacamole

Salsa

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. On a cookie sheet, place hard taco shells and bake for 5-7 minutes. If using soft tacos place them in a skillet for 1-2 minutes to heat on each side.

  2. Brown the ground beef in a skillet. Drain the excess oil from the pan. Add the package of taco seasoning and 2/3 cups of water. Cook until the mixture has slightly thickened.

  3. Assemble the tacos by placing the seasoned meat on bottom of the hard or soft taco shells and layer the vegetables and any additional optional toppings.

  4. Serve.

You can swap out the ground beef for ground turkey or chicken and this can recipe also be made vegan or vegetarian by swapping out the meat with meatless ground options.
