Spaghetti and Meat Sauce
Simple and delicious!
Ingredients:
1 package of spaghetti noodles
1 lbs of ground beef
1 can of tomato sauce
2 tbs of tomato paste
1 medium onion
1 green pepper
2-3 carrots
5-6 mushrooms
3 cloves of garlic
1 bay leaf
1 tsp of garlic salt
Salt and pepper to taste
Parmesan and Romano cheese
Directions:
Boil noodles in salt water according to instructions on package.
Brown ground beef, drain fat and add garlic, onions and the rest of the vegetables.
Add tomato sauce, tomato paste and seasonings. Add a 1/2 cup of spaghetti water if needed to thin the sauce out. Let simmer for 20 minutes.
Once pasta is cooked, drain water and add the noodles to the sauce. Top with shredded parmesan and romano cheese.
Serve.
