French Toast

French Toast

One of my favorite breakfast items!

Ingredients:

6 thick bread slices (Texas Toast)

3 large eggs

2/3 cup milk

1/4 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions:

  1. Beat eggs, milk, cinnamon and vanilla extract together in a mixing bowl.

  2. Heat a lightly buttered griddle or skillet over medium high heat.

  3. Dip each slice of bread in egg mixture, soak each side. Place in pan and cook on both sides until golden brown.

  4. Garnish with fresh fruit, powdered sugar and serve hot!
