Spice Cake Donuts

Ingredients:
Donuts:
2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup white sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp all-spice
1/4 tsp ginger
1 tsp salt
3/4 cup milk
2 eggs (beaten)
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbs shortening
Glaze:
1 cup confectioners sugar
2 tbs hot water
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325 F.
Lightly grease a donut pan.
In a large mixing bowl, mix all dry ingredients together. In another mixing bowl, combine all wet ingredients together. Beat both dry and wet ingredients together until well blended.
Fill each donut cup approximately 3/4 full. Bake 8-10 minutes.
Allow to cool slightly before removing from pan
To make glaze, blend confectioners sugar and hot water in small mixing bowl.
Dip donuts in the glaze when ready to serve.
