Red and Green Salsa
Spicy and delicious perfect for taco tuesday!
Green Salsa Ingredients:
5 tomatillos
5 chile arbol
1 habanero
2 garlic cloves
1/2 small onion
Salt to taste
1/2 bunch of cilantro (chopped)
Directions:
On a comal, roast the tomatillos, chile arbol, onion and garlic cloves until they have a slight char on the skin.
In a blender, add all of the ingredients and blend until smooth.
Add salt to taste once it cools.
Red Salsa Ingredients:
3 Roma tomatoes
5 chile arbol
2 garlic cloves
1/2 small onion
1/2 bunch of cilantro (chopped)
Salt to taste
Directions:
On a comal, roast the tomatoes, chile arbol, onion and garlic cloves until they have a slight char on the skin.
In a blender, add all of the ingredients except the cilantro and blend until smooth.
In a frying pan, fry the salsa for a few minutes. Transfer the salsa into a bowl.
Add the chopped cilantro and salt to taste once it cools.

If you want the salsa less spicy add less chili arbol or none at all.
