Chipotle Steak

Chipotle Steak

Perfect for tacos, quesadillas and more!

Ingredients:

1 7 oz can of chipotle in adobo sauce

1/3 cup of distilled vinegar

1 tsp cumin

4 garlic cloves

1 tsp oregano

2 tsp salt

1 tsp black pepper

1 tbsp chili powder

2 tbsp olive oil

3/4 cup of water

1 lb of skirt steak or flank steak

Directions:

  1. In a blender combine all of the ingredients except the steak and blend until smooth.

  2. Marinate the beef for a minimum of 1 hour or overnight for best results in the blended chipotle mixture.

  3. In a cast iron skillet, cook the meat until your desired temperature.

  4. Rest the meat for a minimum of 5 minutes before cutting.

  5. Serve in tacos or quesadillas!
