Ceviche

Ceviche

It is isn’t spicy, then it isn’t ceviche!

Ingredients:

• 300 grams of bass

• 8 lemons

• 1 medium onion (cut in julienne)

• 1 sweet potato

• Ground Rocoto or Chili (aji) of your choice (spicy)

• Very fine chopped cilantro (can be changed for parsley)

• ½ tsp of garlic in paste.

• Salt

• Lettuce

• 1 small boild corn

• Canchita serrana (Peruvian corn)

• Bananas chips (Chifles) 

 Directions:

  1. Cut the fish into cubes (not too small) and then add somesalt, mix it up, add lemon juice (approx 3 tablespoons), mix for 30 more seconds.

  2. Separate the fish from the juice inside the bowl and add the garlic, rocoto and mix it up, add the cilantro and julienned onions to taste.

  3. Serve with lettuce, sweet potato, corn, canchaitaserrana and top with 1 Chifle or small slice of rocoto.
